In winter the village of La Valle, although far from the chaos of the bigger ski centres is only 5-6 km from the nearest ski lifts of Alta Badia-Sellaronda or Plan de Corones.

Despite its quietness, the Tourist Association of La Valle is very active and organises numerous events, shows, several free excursions like snowshoe and toboggan tours. In addition you can get to know the Ladin culture firsthand and admire, for example, Les Viles, the famous wooden Ladin farmhouses scattered along the mountain slopes.
